Anexet Digest: April 2026 Updates

In April, the Anexet team continued actively working on new features, enhancing existing functionality, and fixing known issues. This release focuses on usability improvements, stronger security controls, and expanded reporting capabilities.

“Timesheet” Report Enhanced

The “Timesheet” report has been improved:

• added the ability to display a visual timeline (work activity map) for users or departments over a selected period;
• significantly simplifies productivity monitoring, especially for large teams.

Viewer Improvements in the Client Console

Enhancements have been made to data viewers in the Client Console:

• you can now configure additional fields to be displayed under user cards;
• enables more flexible data presentation tailored to specific workflows;
• allows reverting to a more familiar interface layout based on user preferences.

IP-Based Access Restrictions Implemented

New security controls have been introduced:

• access to both Administrator Console and Client Console can now be restricted to specific IP addresses;
• prevents unauthorized access even if credentials are compromised;
• advanced User Server settings have been redesigned and now include three tabs.

Improved Access Rights Management for Directory Service Objects

Access rights management has been streamlined:

• the Access Rights Manager is now accessible directly from the directory objects list;
• previously available only via advanced settings of the Agent Control Server, which was less convenient.

Statistics Redesign in Image and Speech Recognition Servers

The statistics interface has been updated:

• unified data presentation across modules;
• improved readability and overall user experience.

Computer Search in Process Filters

A small but impactful improvement:

• you can now search for computers by typing characters in the process filter;
• eliminates the need to manually browse through the full list of monitored endpoints.

Quick Navigation from “Hardware and Software” Module

Navigation between modules has been enhanced:

• added direct access from the “Hardware and Software” module to search results in the “PC Activity” collection;
• enables quick review of user activity on a specific workstation without manually configuring search queries in the “User Activity” module.
